When you are thinking of buying a new mobile phone number, then there are chances that you might be being carried away with the temptations of the mobile marketing people and will start to think of changing your mobile also. Please, stop! Read this article on what makes SIM only deals much more advantageous.

There are a number of disadvantages when you buy your phone on a contract, for example, you will not be able to change your plan in between the contract or/and you will not be able to change the service provider. However, if you have your phone and would like a number from a service provider, there are number of benefits, which are listed below:

You can change to the newest and the best plan:

When there is an offer, and if you are on a mobile contract with the SIM included, then you will not be able to change to the most recent plan that seemingly looks like the most promising plan to cut on your mobile bills. Most of the SIM only deals will not put you on a contract. There are two types of SIM only mobile deals: prepaid and postpaid.
Prepaid deals are the ones in which you pay as you go, and most of the time you get most of the beneficiary plans from this type of option, like an increase in the number of free talk time minutes, sms and validity. When you are on a postpaid plan, the chances maybe less that you will be able to go on different kinds of plans, and will offer you a credit limit facility, preset amount of talk time minutes that you will be given the option of opting into to increase you talk time minutes than the standard permitted time for the plan, which depends on your usage.

You can change the number whenever you want:

SIM only deals unlike the phone contracts will allow you to change the number whenever you want, mostly this being immaterial of the plan you are in, that is, even if you are a postpaid customer, you will still be able to close the old account and number and shift to a new number. Many of the mobile service providers will give you the option of changing your old postpaid number to someone else, while you can giveaway your prepaid number by filling out a form by yourself to someone else.

You can change the service provider at your convenience:

This is something, which many of the SIM only users are more than satisfied, as you will be able to change to any mobile service provider who is offering the best deal for you. You will be able to do this instantly at any time, and this works well for those who are on prepaid SIM only plans, wherein you can always shift between service providers for the same phone. However, postpaid SIM only customers have to go through a procedure of closing their account to avoid preset monthly bills.

Better value for the money you pay:

When you are using SIM deals, you receive a better value for the money you pay every month like free talk time minutes, text messages and data plans. You will also have the option of topping up as per your requirement at your discretion.

You will avoid the burden of learning the new phone:

SIM only deals are best for those people who are not quite tech savvy and are not interested in changing their mobile and/or not in a position to learn to use a new mobile phone at the pace that they do with their old phone. For these customers, SIM only deals are the best option, and they will keep saying that Old is Gold!

Mobile Blogging is getting so famous these days that if you pick a group of tech bloggers and ask them about their favorite niche to write, I am sure more than 70% of bloggers’ answer would be reviewing mobiles. Since last three months I have been noticing a sudden rise in the ‘Mobile’ based blogs and sites. Well, being honest I didn’t get the reason yet of reviewing mobiles and all, maybe it’s keywords are too profitable for them or perhaps the reason would be the launch new iPhone 4 or Motorola Droid, which developed a craze in their minds.I may be not clear with the reason of reviewing mobiles or how it’s benefiting bloggers, but I am clear with one thing for sure that Mobile is being something to bloggers that a Personal Computer couldn’t be ever.

Being a mobile user you would know the life time of a mobile. A mobile hardly works OK for five-six months and maximum to maximum a year or so. I guess after reviewing a mobile or using it for some time I don’t think that bloggers would be left anything to do with it. Am I not right? If I am, then here’s a solution for all bloggers who buy the mobiles just to review and then after that those mobile remain of no use – Sell My Mobile.

About

Sell My Mobile is one of the UK’s number 1 mobile phones recycling price comparison portal with more phone buyers than any one else so, the sellers are guaranteed to always get most money for their mobile. Doesn’t matter the condition of mobile.

Screenshot

Sell My Mobile

How Does it Works?

Search for the mobile you want to sell.

Once you get the search results, choose the deal which suits you the best.

Post your Phone, which you want to sell for free to the BUYER and..

Get money for your old phone!

I think it’s one of the best solutions for all bloggers, who buy mobiles just to review and then they leave them over making them of no use. They can make money for old phones by selling the phones which are of no use to them or which they buy just to review and could invest the money in their blogs.

I have not fully tested the 3.0 version, but yeah have taken some pictures so that those who don’t have time to test it can easily see what the work the WP guys have done in designing. If I will get time, then will surely post a detailed review on it. Have a look at the pics.
