There were days when they use to build a website using HTML codes and Java scripts manually.

Today there are many websites and applications using which you can design and build your own website and for doing this you need not have to possess knowledge of HTML codes. Still we need Webmasters around because we can build the website but we will not be able to host it and maintain it.

Webmaster over the years have mastered in the technique to maintain and manage different websites. Although some of the webmasters have moved on with time by integrating their knowledge with the SEO technique.

Today SEO also has become an integral part of Webmasters and eventually maintaining and managing a website. Most of the webmasters are responsible for bringing in traffic to the website as well to maintain the higher ranks in the search engines.

They have to integrate and optimize the website by considering all the possibilities of future maintenance as well future integration of website. They are concerned that their website has to be user friendly, easy to locate and at the same time eye catchy which will clear the main objective of their business.

Webmasters have moved along with the changing technology and they are aware of new software’s like Jhoomla, Drupal and all the functionalities Fantastico Library as well wordpress. Infact some of the templates, which we see on wordpress and on some of the sebdesigning sites, have been created by these webmasters. They are the ones who have to possess all the repeated knowledge of software’s as they have to dupe many roles at the same time. They have to try their hands in painting, designing, layouts, hosting sites in networking as well server maintenance also.

They ought to have knowledge of different scripts and languages, which will improve their working credibility. These Webmasters are generating whatever tips we are getting for the proper use of technology.

A guest post by Bilal Ahmad write about seo, blogging and social media and review wordpress plugins like popup domination to help bloggers in increasing mailing list. He has also reviewed keyword winner plugin which helps in getting top SERP on search engines.

These days the Internet is jam-packed with blogs. There are lots of distinct blog podiums at present and several of them are without charge. I do not observe any “awful” thing regarding utilizing a free blogging podium, in actual fact. On the other hand, sincere bloggers would inform you that it is greatly superior if you bring into play your personal domain. This is matched up to the URL that you have from a blogging podium at no cost. If you utilize WordPress, you will obtain a URL including WordPress in it, if you draw on Blogger, you will pick up a URL as Blogspot in it and all that.

On the contrary is that sufficient motive to acquire your individual domain? I reflect the same. It seems as well as gives the impression of being extra professional as well as “genuine” if you get your personal domain. In addition, for SEO objectives, keeping your individual domain provides you an upper hand.
Consequently what must you deem when opting for a domain pro your blog? If SEO is vital for you and also you like folks to find out your blog, it follows that you are supposed to confirm that your domain given name is key phrase rich. This does not signify that the URL ought to be lengthy – simply go for the correct words to submit there with regard to your blog as well as its subject matter.

This brilliant article is written by Saksham Talwar, who shares funny videos and funny clips in Vidzshare. Don’t forget to check his website!

Being a blogger, you would know how fast the ‘Blogosphere’ is expanding and now each and every niche is being mattered and noticed. To always keep its visitors and especially the loyal readers always being updated, a blogger tries its best. Isn’t it? This post it completely a tribute to Tech Bloggers or the Mobile bloggers, who blogs about Mobiles (sponsored by - Cash For Mobiles).

The mobile era has changed as it was, now every day a revolutionary mobile or a Smart Phone I’d say gets launched and the very next day no one even bothers about it. As a new mobile gets launched, every blogger tries to get his hands on it, not because that it could help them in some way or they like it, but because being the first to get hands on the phone and reviewing it before the others’ do could help them in making a better ranking for their blog and also could attract some more visitors, looking for the same.

Well, it’s not bad to buy a Mobile, but buying every time just for reviewing it is such a waste of money. Isn’t it? I have seen many bloggers purchasing mobile phones just so that they can review it and get their blog some more visitors (one of those bloggers include my cousin too ), which I personally feel is a waste of money as none of the smart phones cost below 12k nor a newbie can make around 12k from a review.

But there’s a site, which can help those, who like to review Mobile everyday without wasting their money; Cash For Mobiles.

About

Cash for mobile, the name itself describe about the site. Now let me tell you about this site. This is the only site where you can sell of your old mobile phones at a great price. One more feature makes this site useful as this site allows you to recycle for old phone in return of a new phone. If your old phone is not working, then don’t think that nobody will buy your phone. This site has an option where you can select the condition of your phone as “Working” & “Non’- Working”, and the price for mobile depends on the condition of mobile. If your phone is working in a good condition with all features enabled, then on this site you can fetch good amount of money for your phone. But if it is not working, then you will be paid half the money, the amount that was going to be paid if the same phone was in working condition.

This site is Eco- friendly site. This site is doing it’s best to save the environment. The old phone is if not disposed properly is very dangerous to nature. But if you care about nature, then you can use this site and this site manages this old phones so carefully that they can’t harm nature anymore. They make this old phone reach to a location where these will be properly handled and disposed or will be taken to extract plastic and other useful materials.

Cash For Mobile is a site that allows anyone to sell their mobile, smart phone or just a normal phone at a very good price. It also provides its users with a convenient option to compare mobile models so, the owner gets the actual price for the mobile or the phone that it deserves.

I think it can help Mobile Bloggers, as now without tension of the money they can buy a mobile to review and later on sell it at a good price.

We have already discussed all about web hosting on Passionate Bloggers and I guess until now you would know how important roles of hosting in a blog’s life is. Last time while talking about a promotional code/free service we shared with you the promotional code of Netfirms domain provider, using which you could have easily got a professional custom domain just for 1$. Today we have got a similar thing of Doteasy using which you can get an advertisement free unlimited Web Hosting with a custom domain for a year just at a cost of 1$. Isn’t it pretty cool?

Doteasy is one of the top web hosting provider after HostGator. It could be recommended to any newbie. Via one of my friends I came to know about that they are being giving away Web Hosting with a domain name for just 1$ for some days, I checked their site and even tried to sign up for a domain to whether it’s true or not (I checked see if there’s any hidden costs or not) and yes it was true. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary by doing so.

Unlimited hosting and domain is not only you would get, but you would also get

PHP/CGI/PERL/ Frontpage support.

Free Unique IP Address.

Easy Control Panel; cPanel.

Free Website creator.

Free Script Installer.

Instant WordPress, bbPress setup (for Bloggers especially).

Getting started

Getting started on Doteasy is easy. Head over to their home page and click on sign up.

Tick on the register a new domain (if don’t have any, select the domain name(s) you like to register and click ‘Continue button’.

Domain Choice

Choose the options of your choice (I would recommend not to choose anything extra as you may be CHARGED for that). Once you chose the options, now it’s the time to enter the coupon code (on the right hand side there’s a box to do so). The codes are 20101010G2 – .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.mobi/.us 20101010U2 – .UK, 20101010C2 – .ca.

Hosting Plan

Now it’s the time to enter your contact details and pay the payment. You’re done!

Enter details

The impact of social media on the behavior of your customers is increasing every day and nobody can deny it. According to stats, more than 90% of online consumers go to social media websites before buying a product and more than 50% of them take decisions on the basis of information they get from these social media websites, hence no business owner irrespective of the size, type or location of their business can afford to ignore the social media websites in their marketing strategy especially when nine out of your ten customers go to these websites before coming to you.

Although many businesses have already joined and created accounts on popular social networking websites, but still most of them are not able to leverage any kind of benefit from these sites, here we’ll discuss few of the reasons about why your social media strategy failed and what you should do to avoid such mistakes.

Using social media for broadcasting – Time and again, we see that most of the companies use their social networking accounts only for making new announcements related to their products and never participate in any kind of conversations. Social networking websites are created for doing conversations and your overall social media strategy fails at the moment when you stop participating in conversations with your target audience and start using your accounts as a medium to broadcast news related to your company.

Lacks of consistency – Many businesses join social networking websites with great expectations, but they stop updating your accounts when they can’t see quick results in form of new clients and increase revenues. Developing relationships on social media websites is a slow process. So have patience and don’t leave your social networking accounts unattended for months because nothing hurts your credibility more than when a user found your account which was not updated from a long time.

Having Nothing Valuable to Say – Your target audience expects you to be an expert in your niche when you are trying to sell something to them. Mostly, business owners don’t update their accounts for days because they can’t find anything that can be shared with their target audience. It gives bad signals to your target audience. So, if you want to establish yourself as an expert amongst them, make sure that you have something valuable to share with them.

When you stop behaving like a person – It is easier to develop a relationship with a human being as compared to building relationship with a company. Your potential customers will always prefer to buy from a friend instead of buying anything from a logo or a company. Make your social networking accounts as human as possible. Don’t limit yourself to product announcements or to conversations related to your products. Take a leap and start participating in conversations which are of interest to your potential buyer.

In many of my previous posts I told you all about the ‘More’ tag SEO issue, it was not clear to some of the bloggers. Some of my friends even contacted me for the details. Instead of giving the information about it and its issues in WordPress I found writing about it is a better way to let all know. The ‘More tag’ is actually a tag generated and inserted in the post section by a button present present above the ‘content’ section of the WordPress, used to create a ‘Read More..’ or ‘Continue reading’ link in the posts on home screen, tags, categories, pages and search pages. Well, if you think this small tag does play an important role, then you should not be calling yourself a blogger because none of the features in WordPress is useless. Every feature plays an important role and like all it does too. In this post I am going to tell you WHEN and WHEN NOT to use this tag in your blog. I am sure that I would help you.

When to use?

Ok! the ‘More’ tag comes default in WordPress installation and one can easily insert it by pressing ALT + SHIFT + T. The question which might arise in some readers is in last post I told that using more tag is not good as it creates a # tag at the end of the URL and creates a duplicate of the original post that is not good for SEO. Yeah! I told this, but this thing does not matter when is blog is just two three months old? Moreover, I am telling this because it is always suggested not to make any severe changes in a blog for first three-fourth month until the blogs get Google love. So if your blog is not too old, then use it!

When NOT to use it?

When the initial period of your blog gets overerd you are free to remove this tag and I will tell you how can you how do that just keep on reading. Now assume that initial period of your blog is overed and you want a professional blog. To make it look professional I am sure you would like to remove the dirt looking link of ‘Read more..’ or ‘Continue reading’. Moreover, now you might start caring about the SEO matter (as I assume you might have Google Love until now and does not want to get it a lost). You remove the tag there are many options like by hacking your WordPress files, but that is risky and you have to take a backup of your blog to try that. The another method is by using a plug-in called Thumbnail For Excerpts.

The idea of this plugin is to make excerpts have an image near. By default, WordPress strip every tag in excerpts, including images, so the look can be boring.

This plug-in would remove the bad looking read more links from the screen of your blog, add a thumbnail (will automatically add it by searching the post) with excerpts. The best thing about it is that you can easily change the width and the height of the thumbnail according to the color and design of your theme.

Links: Download/Instructions

Well, the title of the post should be what I didn’t learn from blogging. I have learned almost everything from blogging from English grammar to SEO, from designing to coding and a lot more. Today I’m going to tell what I learnt from this blogosphere. Here are the few thing which I learnt-

Blog less, comment more: Yes! this is the main point, which I learned. Previously I used to blog continuously, I used to publish at least two articles a day, but I was wrong. There is no point of posting too many silly posts, which will be not even read by anyone. To increase a blog’s traffic just post three-four quality posts a week and deliberately comment on others blog. If your blog contains valuable content, but doesn’t have any reader, then I don’t think there is any use such content. To get back result of your hard work you need traffic and commenting on others blog is the best way to drive traffic. So, blog less (only quality post) and comment more.

Don’t blog for money: When I started my first blog on Google’s Blogspot I filled up my blog with Adbrite and Adsense advertisements, which was one of the worst things that I did in my blogging life. It slowed down my blog, but I was getting a good amount of money of Adsense as many guys started clicking on my ads, which later resulted that I lost my Adsense account. Google thought I was deliberately clicking on my ads myself.

Why shouldn’t you blog for money?

- You should not blog for money as told filling up a lot of advertisements on your blog will slow it down and will result in traffic loss and will make you to loose your readers forever as your readers will think that you are not a good blogger, you want money nothing else.

Post tutorials, not about your services!: Most of the bloggers think that posting about their services and all will attract their readers to give a try to their services, but they are absolutely wrong! Doing so will help them in getting a client. Well good tutorial like How to set up WordPress MU on local server. If a reader will enjoy reading that article, will try set up to setup it its own, but he fails, then he will surely take the help of the author.
I learned this thing when I started services page for bloggers, which was of no use.

Everything needs a hell lot of time: This thing I learned when I gave up by failure of my three blogs. I literally gave up, but one of my friends who is pro-blogger told me that it takes a lot of time to get success. So, I continued my blogging journey and shifted my blog from Blogger to Blog.co.in. After moving to Blog.co.in, I felt that there are some restrictions there, which I didn’t like so finally got a WordPress powered blog sponsored by Budding Bloggers that further helped me to learn a lot of new things.

Focus on Niche, SEO and branding: When I moved to WordPress I knew everything about SEO and branding, but the thing where I lacked was niche. I made my Tricks based blog an all-round blog which I shouldn’t do as it confused my readers that what I really want to do and cause of it I lost my all traffics. So, from now I am going to post articles based on my niche only.

This is what I learnt from blogging. Did you learn too something from your blogging journey? If yes, then please let me know.

I have already told you about Pro-blogging on my blog – Extreme Trix. Professional blogging is that situation when a person takes blogging as full-time job. Some bloggers get so much indulged in blogging that they don’t get time to spend time with their friends, girlfriends/boyfriends and family and sometimes even don’t get time to eat proper food because which they get ill very often (even I too got ill – when I started pro-blogging in my holidays – read this. ). A blogger should blog at a fixed time stay fit and good.

Pro-blogger

Some bloggers think that continuous blogging will help them to make a good amount of money, but they are totally wrong! Quality is the king not the quantity. If you want to make a good amount of money from blogging, then your quality of the posts matters a lot. For writing a killer post you need good productive and creative ideas. I am damn sure that you will not get any cool idea siting in front of computer or a Mac, but activities like outdoor games, outing with friends, blah, blah really works! Moreover, some bloggers get addicted to bad habits like Smoking, Drinking, watching p*rn, etc. Because of pro-blogging. So if you want to be fit and good, then you should work (blog) from a fixed time like others do in an office, so you can take out some time for social activities. Harsh bro of Shout Me Loud had posted a post on pro-blogging in which he explained few tips to help pro-bloggers in maintaining a balance between their online and real life – check this. It may help you.

Today while stumbling across I came through an Adobe Air based application named Pomodairo, which is an application for working with the Pomodoro technique. It is quite good for new bloggers and can help them a lot in time management which may help them to get some time for social activities and not getting addicted to bad things. Features of Pomodairo are -

Setting close date for done tasks

Ability to copy name of the pomodoro to clipboard

Pomodoro and timer now shows in taskbar. Can be turned off in configuration.

Pomodoros are only counted when timer completes.

Configuration option to keep window on top.

Deleted pomodoros that are running will be stopped and cleared.

Made visual notification for time out more distinct.

A refresh button to DatabaseViewer

The most common question arises in someone’s mind when you talk about blogging to him is what is it? Well there is no proper answer to this question. Blog is like a personal or professional diary where someone shares his knowledge or just write about himself/herself. When someone writes on a blog actually he does blogging.

I love blogging.

According to WikiPidea -

A blog (a contraction of the term “web log“) is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Sometimes blogs often become more than a way to just communicate; they become a way to reflect on life or works of art. Like some bloggers (people who blog) have started pro-blogging which means they earn their monthly salary through blogs only. Some of pro-bloggers like Darren Rowse and Rahul Bansal have started companies which do blogging and web designing services.

Blogging is a good time pass which can be turned into a good source of income if used in a right way. We can make a lot of money by just blogging if he does it in a correct way. The pro-bloggers (professional bloggers) mainly earn through the following -

PPC Advertising Networks

Affiliate Marketing

Text link advertisements

Product reviews.

There are many platforms to blog, but if you are new to blogging and want to learn it first without wasting a single penny I would recommend that you to try Google’s Blogger. No doubt that WordPress is best platform to blog, but too geeky for newbies. I don’t think any newbie can understand WordPress easily. Later if a blog becomes popular, then you ca easily move it WordPress without any problem with SEO.

If you know WordPress well enough and want to start a blog on it, but don’t have money to buy hosting and domain, then you can go for Budding Bloggers which provides an advertisement free hosting account with domain of your own choice.

Things that matters a lot in blogging

SEO – Search engine optimization is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via natural search results. A detailed post about SEO and how to optimize WordPress for it can be found here.

Commenting – Its an easy way to improve a blog’s traffic.

Quality – Yep, quantity of your blog matters a lot.

SEM – Traffic also matters on the way you share your stuff (media, post) on a social networking site with others.

That’s all for tonight, I think I have discussed a lot of blogging tonight. Stay tuned we’ll be sharing a lot more every day.

These days many people are blogging because it is a cool time pass which can be turned into a good source of income if used in a right way, even kids (like me) also started to blog in their free time to earn few bucks. So me and some of my friends and me thought why not open a site where even a newbie can blog and make money easily.

Passionate Bloggers is a cool revenue sharing blog started by Anki Puri and his team for both a pro and a new blogger, here we’ll be sharing useful information about blogging and easy and cool tips by which posts can be easily turned into $$. Like all other blogs in our network PB is also a revenue sharing blog where anyone can post and earn money. We support all types of ad networks including Google Adsense, AdBrite, Chitika and WidgetBucks.

Currently we are not providing any services or making any theme and plug-in for WordPress nor implementing any cool hack for it, but we’ll be doing all that very soon to make blogging much more easy and flexible for newbies.

So stay tuned to PB, we’ll soon start posting.
